Commonwealth Business Women Africa (CBW-Africa) is part of a coalition of the Commonwealth Women Network (CWN). CWN is a Commonwealth government-accredited civil society organization with the focus of advancing women and men in the 56 countries of the Commonwealth on one platform. It is the only organization accredited by Commonwealth Governments that aims at Strengthening the Commonwealth, Building Businesses, NGOs, Professional Bodies, Networks of Associations, Civil Society Organisations, Women Empowerment, Gender Equality Advocacy, and Economic Empowerment.

    Key Projects

    1 Million girls coding initiative

    The Kenya Chapter Chairlady, together with KODRIS CEO, Mr. Mugumo Munene, engaged with the Governor of Neyri County to plan the provision of materials, equipment and training to schools and trainers in the county under this KODRIS program.

    The two schools have been selected to pioneer the coding initiative in Kenya: Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls School in Nyeri County and Our Lady of Consolata Mugoiri Girls High School in Murang’a County
